About the Journal

Jurnal Belantara is an International journal that contains the results of research and reviews (results of reviews) from Academics, Practitioners, and bureaucrats to disseminate information and encourage equitable and sustainable natural resource management through scientific publications. Jurnal Belantara is a journal published regularly twice a year (in March and August) by the Forestry Study Program at the University of Mataram. This journal provides direct open access to its contents, adhering to the principle that research results should be openly accessible, enabling the public to support the global exchange of knowledge.

Management of Jurnal Belantara is based on Rector Decree No. 1842 / UN18 / HK / 2018, with a focus on the field of forestry and environment which includes; Forest Management, Silviculture, Technology of Forest Product, Conservation of Natural Resources, Forestry Policy, and Politics, Ecology, Social Forestry, GIS, Watershed Management, Environmental Services, Environmental Impact, Environmental Planning and Management, Climate Change.

Jurnal Belantara has been accredited by the Ministry of Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia with SINTA 3 from 2024 to 2028 according to decree SK No 177/E/KPT/2024.
